As we get close to December, we start to think about the holidays. There are so many great items to put in a student's stocking as a voice or guitar student! Read a few of the ideas I have listed below that would be perfect to put in your musician’s stocking during the Christmas season!
Voice Gifts
In a moment singer’s need to sing acapella, a pitch pipe is an essential tool to set up students for success. I recommend getting them a nice one with a case. A pitch pipe can be taken anywhere and it is something you want to keep nice. I have had my pitch pipe since I was in high school.
When it becomes cold and flu season, throat coat tea is so valuable. I always recommend this one because it tastes really sweet! This tea can last a while because it is not something to be used on a daily basis but as an add needed basis. This could help students in a pickle when they are not feeling 100% and need something soothing to drink.
A Christmas Ornament is classic! Getting them something to add to the tree would be so cute and a microphone is the best way to show off their love of voice! Add this ornament to their stocking and see them smile as they put it on the tree!
Guitar Gifts
Guitar Picks
Guitarists always need guitar picks! Give them something that they will love and find helpful! Guitar students are always looking for more guitar picks and getting them a pack to put in their stocking would be so much fun. You can even get ones of their favorite singers like The Beatles, Taylor Swift, or Johnny Cash!
Students love to learn their favorite songs. A capo is really beneficial for students to learn different songs as it helps them change the key easier! Get them one in their favorite color to show off their personality. Even getting a pack of capos can be helpful because they can get lost or broken.
Guitar students need to play in tune, getting them a tuner would be awesome! They can put it on the end of their guitar and it feels the vibrations of the string to make sure their instrument is in tune! If your student doesn’t already have one, put one in their stocking!
