Love to support local and looking for a great coffee fix? As a musician, I play a lot of local events and at many small businesses! Here are 3 coffee shops I recommend stopping by and getting your next cup of coffee at!
This cute coffee shop gives off a vintage vibe that is welcoming to anyone! The chairs are all different and cozy giving everyone a different experience. Throughout the shop are products of local vendors which is a great way to support many different local businesses. As a live musician, I love performing for such a kind community at Vintage Grounds Coffeehouse. In addition to that, their special drinks are so much fun! They match the seasons and never fail to impress! The drink in the photo below is a Lavender Blossom Green Tea and it was delicious! Finally, if you need a quick coffee stop, Vintage Grounds does have a drive through so you can grab your coffee to go before work!
Mama D’s Coffee has been on my show schedule for at least the last 10 years and I love it. Throughout the summer, there is live music outside on their patio. Mama D’s Coffee has always been huge about supporting the community and I have been hosting my Musical Food Drive there for the past few years! Mama D’s Coffee has a great selection of drinks including fun specials as well. When I was younger, I used to get the smoothies and loved them as well! Mama D’s Coffee has expanded and even has a second location in Waukesha, but this location does not host live music, just the Wales location. Mama D’s is a great stop for a girls morning or first date!
When I first played a Blum Coffee Garden, I was in love with the entire vibe. It is a plant shop and coffee shop combined! Throughout the entire coffee shop, there are plants that are for sale and it is a great stop during the winter to boost your energy! I have performed on their inside stage and outdoor patio. Both have such a great energy and aesthetic for focus. Blum Coffee Garden has a great tea selection, which is something I look for as a singer, but they also have a strong coffee selection. If you are a college student looking to get work done, I 10/10 recommend Blum Coffee Garden.
